Salted pancakes with potatoes

  • INGREDIENTS

-3 potatoes
-2 onions
-40 cl of milk
-2 eggs
-4 c. flour
-1 C. tablespoon baking powder
-olive oil
-fresh chives chopped
-salt pepper

  • PREPARATION

-STEP 1
Wash and peel the potatoes.

-2ND STEP
Peel and finely slice the onions.

-STEP 3
Grate the potatoes and put them in a bowl with the chopped onions and the flour, mixing well.

-STEP 4
Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

-STEP 5
Put the whites in firm snow.

-STEP 6
In a bowl, mix egg yolks, milk, salt, and pepper. Gently add the whites to snow with a spatula.

-STEP 7
Add the mixture to the potato-flour mixture and mix well until a smooth paste is obtained.

-STEP 8
Heat a little oil in a pan and cook small ladles of dough, 2-3 minutes on each side.

-STEP 9
Serve warm or cold pancakes with chopped chives.
